The CHWC collects fees for various bus trips and fund-raising activities throughout the year.  Payment for such is due when a member signs-up to attend the event or activity.  Because of administrative costs and pre-payments due to vendors, the club is unable to issue a refund should a member have to cancel their reservation.

Therefore, we suggest the following as an alternative.  Should there be a waiting list, the member can ask the activity/event coordinator for a name from them. the waiting list.  The member can then call that person and arrange to get payment directly from them.

Mah Jongg - The CHWC offers free classes for beginning players in the Fall and Spring. For Information about various opportunities for play or to register for classes, members may contact Mary Pike (National League Rules) arizonamary@gmail.com for more information about classes.

The Lunch Bunch meets at various restaurants for lunch on the first Wednesday of the month.  Members of the group rotate acting as hostess to arrange for a venue.  Members are accepted throughout the year - attendance may be limited due to the capacity of the restaurant.  Contact Diane Trowbridge at 703-851-0946 for more information.

Bunco Happy Hour- Join members for a monthly Bunco Happy Hour. Group meets on the third Wednesday of each month. Mary Stansfield – mstansfield60@gmail.com

Meet Me at the Movies meets for lunch and a movie, generally on the 4th Tuesday of each month. Because movie schedules can vary, the times and dates will be set on a movie-by-movie basis. Movie titles will be determined by members on the Meet Me at the Movies group email list. CHWC sponsors two book clubs. Membership in each Club is capped. Book Clubs meet monthly to review a book selected by that Club.
